It's like getting a big head start The Castelli Women's Vista Bibshort is Castelli's entry-level short, but it's a shame to think of it that way. It could almost be a top-of-the-line short considering the components, fabrics and engineering that have gone into it. The seat pad is the women's-specific version of the Kiss Air pad. The Pro Dry two-layer fabric has 15% polyester on the inside to help actively move moisture to the nylon outer layer. The 19% elastane/spandex provides excellent stretch, which together with the six-panel construction gives this short fantastic fit. They've concentrated on two critical places to improve comfort and applied their cross-wrap construction to the waist and leg endings for a softer and stretchier way to achieve a comfortable fit. On the leg endings, they've added reflective tape around the back for increased visibility. Maybe you should just think of it as a great deal on a top-level short.
