The 3G Nano Flex fabric is has a light, brushed inner for insulation, and a water repellent treatment which prevents rain or road spray from soaking into the material. As there is no membrane involved, the short is not waterproof, but the lack of membrane also means that it is just as comfy, breathable and unrestrictive as any other short.
