It's just as convenient to wear as a regular bib short and jersey combo but aerodynamics and comfort are vastly improved. Castelli uses Vortex fabric on the legs and Airflow shoulder construction to minimise drag while seams are carefully positioned so as not to disrupt smooth aerodynamics. The suit is also cut to fit beautifully when you're in a low riding position -  at thirty to fifty kilometres an hour, it's frighteningly efficient through the air. Dyed fabrics are also now used for the speed suit, replacing the sublimated fabrics used to print up the pro team kits.
