Description
Castelli makes use of a stretch water resistant and windproof breathable fabric, with a fleece liner, for their ROS Overshoes, ensuring cosy warmth in poor weather conditions as well as excellent mobility. They then give them a high cut cuff, providing extra coverage and extra warmth right up to the base of the calf, and shielding the lower shin from road spray. When the rain hits you'll also find the critical seams moved toward the outside, where they’re less exposed, give the overshoes increased resistance to water ingress. An internal gripper around the cuff creates the final seal against water, while a moulded reflective heel cup raises visibility in low light conditions, perfect for a dark and dank night-time training session. Last but not least, a textured grip pull to the heel makes pulling the overshoes on and off nice and easy - just what's needed when conditions are cold and damp.
