Castelli Goccia JacketThe Castelli Goccia Jacket is a highly functional cycling waterproof and breathable shell that slips easily over your cycling jersey. However, with its streamlined fit, you will remain nicely streamlined as the heavens open. Rather than look to external partners for the fabric to make their Goccia Jacket, Castelli chose to develop their own fabric, Tempesta Stretch. This waterproof fabric is rated to 10,000 mm waterproofness, and with the in-built stretch has allowed Castelli to keep the fit performance focused and streamlined. When compared to the more expensive GORE-TEX® Idro jackets it’s not quite as breathable or packable but it’s far more durable and the stretch offers a far more refined fit on the bike.It also looks great, feels great and is packable enough to fit in a jersey pocket when not needed. When you’re upping the pace, the rear vent lets sweat escape easier and the drop tail design keeps road spray off your behind. A covered zip keeps spray out the front and reflective trim is there for safety in low light.
