Description
This desktop calculator combines reasoned functions and design features for an optimum usability. The gentle curves of the body create a gorgeous dynamic look and produces a comfortable feeling when the calculator is taken in the hand. The noble grey aluminium faceplate brings out an air of luxury. The extra large display (ca. 7.9 x 2.3 cm) with easy-to read numbers (1.8 cm high digits) and thousands separators creates an outstanding visibility. Additionally, the function command signs (+,−,×,÷) on the display indicate the arithmetic operation that is currently performed, to support error-free calculation work. The keypad layout and the ergonomic key cap shape are designed for the ease of input: Most keys have dished key caps, to adapt perfectly to the form of the finger tips. The caps of the bottom left key row have a convex shape, to enable the easy operation by the right thumb, having a different natural movement than the fingers. The numeric keypad is configured with an outdented zero key, for most ergonomic typing by the right hand thumb. The different colours of the numeric keypad and the function keys facilitate the user's orientation. The key rollover feature recognizes and processes 2 different keys that are pressed down successively but are held down simultaneously. By this feature, the intended input does not get lost even if being typed very fast, as the input is being buffered. The calculator provides advanced / pro percentage calculation, enabled by CASIO's unique input logic. The benefit: It shows the absolute value of the % before it is added to rsp. deducted from the base. Input is to be conducted like: "100 x 10 % +" to get the result 110, rsp. "100 x 10 % - " to get the result 90. The calculator provides the mark-up calculation function without having a dedicated "MU - Mark-Up" key. Simply, mark-up calculation can be done easily via the % key. For the example "cost price is 100, profit margin requirement is 10%", the input is to be conducted like: "100 + 10 %" to get the result 111.11 (i.e. the necessary selling price). The calculator provides Cost / Sell / Margin keys for easiest calculation of cost price, selling price and margin.
