Extra comfort

Customers told us that features such as saddle comfort were a crucial element of their riding experience. Recognising this we’ve therefore equipped all 2020 Carrera bikes with memory foam saddles as standard - helping you spend even more time comfortably on your rides. These saddles are specific to the discipline and their shape is designed to complement that style of riding.


Additional peace of mind. More comfort.

To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle we’re also giving you more peace of mind by fitting ‘Carrera Puncture Protection’ tyres as standard which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures. Additionally, we’ve upgraded the tyres on all Carrera 2020 road bikes to a wider 28c width which not only gives extra grip but will run at lower pressures and give a smoother overall ride.

Modern braking system

Disc brakes are fast becoming the norm on high end road bikes due to their increased control and more powerful braking - and if its good enough for the pros then its only right that Carrera customers get the best features too. For 2020, all-new Carrera road bikes come with mechanical disc brakes to give you additional stopping power in all conditions.

Great Gear range

With the help of a 14-speed Shimano gear set, both climbing hills and building up speed on the flat is made easy. Gear changes will feel slick and smooth and a large range cassette ensures you’ll be transferring energy from the pedals to the rear wheel efficiently.

Lightweight frame

Weighing in at just over 11.9kg, the Carrera Zelos’s lightweight aluminium frame does a great job of keeping the bike’s overall weight down, helping you to cycle further for longer. The dropped seat stays also help with comfort levels as they allow a bit more flex in the seat-post which dampens vibrations. All-new tube shapes deliver a stronger and stiffer frame that is better for power transfer.

All weather warrior

It’s a small thing but these bikes are built with our weather in mind – so when it does turn a bit on the damp side you’ll find all our road bikes come with mudguard mounts so you have some protection from the rain.
