LARGE TASTY FRUIT - The Jostaberry is a very vigorous growing self fertile fruit bush with an upright growing habit. It is a thornless hybrid cross between a blackcurrant and a gooseberry. It produces heavy cropping of large shiny black berries during the Summer. The berries are similar in shape to a gooseberry with the unique taste and vitamin content of a blackcurrant. This makes them very nutritious and tasty - ideal for making preserves, using in cooking or having with ice cream or yoghurt.PLANTING POSITION - This fruit bush can be planted in full sun but will tolerate part shade in well draining soil. The Jostaberry is very resistant to mildew but will require protection against frost during the Winter months.HEIGHT AND SPREAD - Will grow to a height of 1.5-2.5 metres, with a spread of 1-1.5 metres.WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE - Will arrive in a 2L pot, measuring 45 - 55cm in height.
