The 32.5MP sensor in this hybrid mirrorless camera brings out rich detail in far-off subjects, and you can shoot silky-smooth 4K video at 60p rate. In-body image stabilisation works with a compatible lens’s optical IS to keep things rock-steady and sharp. Meanwhile, Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus II is driven by AI to track people, animals and fast-moving subjects with stunning accuracy. 32.5MP APS-C sensor
Its CMOS sensor captures a stunning 32.5 megapixels of extreme clarity, with dynamic range and excellent low light performance. It’s an ideal working partner for Canon’s RF range of lenses. Driven by the DIGIC X processor, you can achieve just as high detail in low light, up to ISO 32,000.
Lightning-fast autofocus
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II covers virtually 100% of the frame. So fast-moving subjects are always kept super-sharp. It’s programmed using deep-learning AI that recognises faces and eyes, even viewed from the side, even when people are wearing a helmet, looking in a different direction, or turning upside down. It’s perfect for capturing moving people, animals, and birds in flight with rapid-reaction accuracy.
4K Ultra High Definition
Shoot movie footage in true cinematic style. Capture 4K video at frame rate 60p, or shoot Full HD footage at up to 120p frame rates for stunning slow motion sequences. The autofocus power of the R7 keeps things sharp and allows for impressive pull-focus transitions.
RF lens mount
Its pioneering lens mount places the high performance optics of Canon's RF range of lenses at optimum distance from the sensor for a step forward in creative photography. It can be used with existing EF-S (with a cropped area) and EF lenses with no loss of performance, when attached to the Mount Adapter EF-EOS R (not included).
High resolution viewfinder
Shoot with the exceptionally clear 2.36 million dot EVF, relating approx. 100% of the scene, for a traditional shooting stance.
Vari-angle touch screen
Its bright 1.62 million dot touch screen adjusts to 170° vertically and horizontally so you can shoot from tricky angles and dynamic perspectives.
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
Always on low energy Bluetooth connection lets you sync your work with your smart device and Wi-Fi can share instantly to cloud services.
