Whether you want a bike for commuting, or simply to take you off the beaten track at the weekends the Quick CX can take the rough with the smooth. Cannondale made their name with their innovative aluminium frames and with the Quick CX you get the benefit of their expertise. The result is a lightweight Smartform C2 aluminium frame with Cannondale’s micro-suspension built in. These are small areas of the frame designed to flex slightly, without any moving parts, to help soak up bumps and vibrations, giving you a smoother and more comfortable ride. To make the ride even smoother the Quick CX comes with a front suspension fork and wide 38c tyres with a multi-surface tread to give you plenty of grip. If you are planning to use the Quick CX for commuting, or even for a bit of light touring, the frame comes with mounts for pannier racks and full mudguards. The Quick CX 4 comes with 24 gears so you have plenty of range to get you up the steepest of hills and hydraulic disc brakes so you can easily stop on the way back down. This bike is perfect for Riders who want a bike that will let them mix up their commute on paths and roads, or who want a bike with an upright and balanced riding position for use on forest tracks, canal towpaths and cycle paths at the weekends.
