The Cannondale Quick CX 4 2019 Hybrid Bike is designed to handle anything from roads to forest tracks, old railway lines and cycle paths. The CX 4 comes the 27 gears, the widest range in the Quick CX range, along with hydraulic brakes and a suspension fork with a lockout. Cannondale made their name with their innovative aluminium frames and with the Quick CX you get the benefit of their expertise. The result is a lightweight Smartform C2 aluminium frame with Cannondale’s micro-suspension built in. These are small areas of the frame designed to flex slightly, without any moving parts, to help soak up bumps and vibrations, giving you a smoother and more comfortable ride. To make the ride even smoother the Quick CX comes with a front suspension fork and wide 38c tyres with a multi-surface tread to give you plenty of grip. If you are planning to use the Quick CX for commuting, or even for a bit of light touring, the frame comes with mounts for pannier racks and full mudguards. The wide gear range on the CX 4 makes it particularly good on hilly terrain. While the CX 4 is good for light off-road use it also has the wheels and lightweight frame of a road bike so you get plenty of speed and, for longer road sections, the suspension fork has a lockout. This bike is perfect for Riders who want a bike that will let them mix up their commute on paths and roads, or who want a bike with an upright and balanced riding position for use on forest tracks, canal towpaths and cycle paths at the weekends.
