In fact, it was said that, to the Victorians tuberose was so agonisingly seductive that women were warned not to get too close lest an accidental whiff rouse daring desire. This trio of strong, floral notes then rests gently on a bed of hushed vanilla flower, leaving behind a lingering aromatic autograph of bold and dazzling femininity. It's important to keep your wick trimmed to 5mm. This will keep the wick at optimum flame height and prevent the wick from smoking. To preserve the candle fragrance, do not burn for more than four hours at a time. The first time you burn your candle allow the wax to burn evenly across the surface. Scented candles develop a ‘burn memory' and a candle that has not burnt right to the edges on its initial use, will ‘tunnel' and burn unevenly through the centre of the wax. Never leave a lit candle unsupervised. Keep the flame away from drafts, curtains and other flammable items around the home. Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets and always place on a stable, heat resistant surface. Do not burn your candle all the way down, allow at least 10mm of non-molten wax in the bottom.
