Description
Choccy Peanutsters are Buttermilk's vegan-friendly answer to those peanut sweets made by the famous company with all the Ms in its name. (We can't say it, we don't want to get anybody in trouble, but if you need a hint, do you remember that rapper called Eminem?) Big peanuts are coated in vegan chocolate and then wrapped in crunchy coloured shells. How they make the chocolate so creamy without any dairy products is almost as nuts as calling themselves Buttermilk! Buttermilk may not be the most vegan-friendly sounding name, but their chocolates definitely are. This family-run business was established by Tracy and David Goad, and it started life as a traditional fudge shop in the heart of Padstow. Now, they've gone completely plant powered. But their good work doesn't stop there, because not only are their products all suitable for those on a plant-based diet, but they're also gluten free and palm oil free. They source their cocoa from a farmers' union, they use EU sugarcane that supports biodiversity, and they have a zero-waste policy when it comes to packaging, so everything is recyclable, contains recycled materials or is reusable. All of which makes these nibbles without the niggles.
