Suggested for wading in rivers and streams, or for when the weather turns particularly bleak and cold and you still want to run or ride in shorts, insulated, windproof, waterproof Bridgedale 100% Waterproof Heavyweight Knee High StormSocks are dense and resilient, with terry loop cushioning throughout. Giving full lower leg coverage and protection, these three-layer socks have soft, warm Merino wool-rich FusionTech liners, with antibacterial, moisture wicking properties, a durable outer layer made from nylon, protects the third, a Hydrotech waterproof breathable membrane against abrasion from the boot. All three layers are bonded together by matrix lamination. The socks have Lycra in each layer, for a performance fit which, together with flat toe seams and elastic arch supports, ensure the sock hold in place and doesn’t rub against the skin or cause hotspots. A lower boot length socks is also available.
