Description
Limited Edition of 75 Pieces. Bremont The Longitude White Gold Limited Edition LONGITUDE-WG-R. Through the back of a see through sapphire crystal glass exhibition feature sealed to a 50 meter water resistant 18ct white gold case, is Bremont’s first in house manufacture movement, which can be admired as it performs at 25,200 vibrations per hour, producing a 65 hour power reserve. It is also protected inside Bremont’s anti shock and anti magnetic technology and uses a silicone escapement as well as a solid Tungsten oscillating weight. The movement propels a set of elegantly crafted blued steel hands around a silvery white metal dial featuring a raised central globe with debossed longitude lines. The meridian line running from 12H to 6H finishes at a red circular power reserve indicator inspired by the red ball at the top of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich building. This 40mm men’s Bremont Limited Edition Longitude white gold watch pays homage to the foundations of timekeeping and navigation at the point where longitude was established. The baton and Roman numeral hour track on the dial accompanies a recessed small second sub dial at 9 o’clock, balanced by a large date window at 3 o’clock and incorporates a piece of real brass taken from the Flamsteed Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, London. This artefact forms a ring around the ENG376 Calibre belonging to Bremont’s exquisite in house ENG300 movement series. In addition to an onion shaped crown and an anti glare sapphire crystal glass front, this Longitude watch from Bremont, limited to just 75 pieces worldwide, is completed on a black alligator leather strap to retain a classic and sophisticated look when paired with elegant attire.
