The introduction of the Airco Jet offers a contemporary refresh of one of Bremont’s most traditional pilot’s watch designs. The black DLC finish is a first for the Bremont Airco Collection, one of the brand’s bestselling ranges. The 40mm Airco Jet infuses an element of edge to this timeless classic and features a contrasting steel crown, case back and pin buckle. The black dial is elegantly matched with white Arabic numerals and hands inlaid with green Super-Lumi Nova® for increased legibility. The red tip of the seconds hand makes for a smart contrast against the black dial and a date function sits at the 3 hour mark. The chronometer rated Airco Jet is made from Bremont’s signature Trip-Tick® case construction and incorporates an open case back through which the mechanical movement can be seen. Its khaki sailcloth strap presents a lovely juxtaposition both in terms of colour and texture. Formed in 2017, the Airco Collection celebrates the history of aviation wristwatches, going back to the roots of military aviation. Named in tribute to one of the earliest British Military Aircraft manufacturers ‘The Aircraft Manufacturing Company Limited’, the collection is comprised of classically styled three-hand pilot’s watches that wouldn’t have looked out of place in the cockpit of a World War II aircraft.
