Inspired by the 1983 Frecce Tricolori watch for the Italian Air Force’s aerobatic fleet, which launched just before the rerelease of the Breitling Chronomat, the bold and unconquerable Super Chronomat watch features a 200 meter water resistance, a unidirectional rotating bezel equipped with a coloured ceramic insert for the first time and an in house developed movement. The Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 beats away inside the watch’s rugged stainless steel case, putting its performance on show through a sapphire backed case. This engine guarantees a 70 hour power reserve once fully wound and performs at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. On the dial side, the Breitling Super Chronomat B01 44 watch has hands and baton indexes filled with Super LumiNova and a striking red coated chronograph seconds hand imbed with the iconic Breitling motif counterweight.
