ercol This bedroom bench wanted to create a look of modern bedroom furniture. We wanted bedroom furniture look that was easy to live with, which means that it is modern, but it feels comfortable and casual in your home. The bedroom has lots of well-recognized design features, such as its crafted joint details and soft curves. We also wanted to reference some well-recognized shapes with the bedroom furniture, so we created the oval cut-out handles which reference the oval cut-out shape in our classic variety of furniture and makes a nice, soft, tactile feature when you are opening and closing the drawers on the chest of drawers and bedside table. The finger joints in the solid wood drawer fronts give it that lovely feel of handcrafted furniture. We took the finger joint detail from the chest of drawers and bedside table, copied it and made it large and bold on the headboard of the bed, to give a nice, bold design feature and focal point for the area in your bedroom. Gas-struts make lifting the lid a breeze. Equally at home in your bedroom as a blanket box or in your hallway to store your shoes or gloves, scarves and hats.
