The Bontrager Little Dipper MIPS Toddler Cycling Helmet is one of the smallest helmets on the market to feature MIPS. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) was developed by brain surgeons and scientists to allow a small amount of movement in the helmet on impact, helping to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head and adding an extra layer of protection. As well as the MIPS Brain protection the Little Dipper has a moulded EPS shell that gives extended coverage at the sides and back to protect more of the your kid’s head. To help get the helmet on and off more easily it comes with a magnetic buckle that simply snaps together without the risk of pinching skin. The Little Dipper MIPS helmet is designed for growing kids aged 2 to 4 with a head circumference between 46cm and 50cm.
