The super stiff sole comes with a rating of 12 out of 14 on Bontrager’s scale, compared with 14 out of 14 for their pro level race shoes. This translates into better power transfer from every pedal stroke so you can ride faster for longer. The Cambion shoe uses Bontrager’s inForm Pro last so you get a close fitting shoe while the Boa dial closure gives you plenty of adjustment so you can get the fit really precise. To make sure they can stand up to off-road use the Cambion shoes come with tough GnarGuard outer materials. Although the Cambion shoes are designed for fast cross country and trail mountain bike rides their excellent level of stiffness and toughness also makes them a good option for cyclocross racing and gravel riding.
