Description
The Cream Black Diamond cushion cover is woven from wool in the traditional Beni Ourain style. The deep cream wool pile is accented with black geometric lines giving this traditionally made piece a contemporary look; the perfect balance of warmth and simplicity to compliment your scandi inspired home. Our cushions are hand-dyed and woven by Moroccan artisans in the Atlas mountains, home to the 17 Berber tribes. A smaller cousin of the more traditional floor cushion, our cushion covers promote the same values; a way of creating meaningful spaces to relax and connect in the home. Mix and match our cushion covers and create your perfect cosy corner. Buy now. Please note: Shape and colour may vary very slightly due to the unique hand-made nature of the product. Product Info: Finished with a zip and cotton canvas backer. How should I care for my cushion? Vacuum your cushion cover regularly on both sides using a low suction setting to keep it free from dust and debris. You can also keep it fresh with an occasional light misting of fabric freshener. Can I clean my cushion? If liquid is spilled on your cushion cover we recommend absorbing the liquid as quickly as possible using kitchen towel or an absorbent, dye-free cloth. Do not rub spills or apply water, fabric cleaners or bleach. If further cleaning is required take to a trusted dry cleaner. How do I deter moths? Moth breeding season in the UK is May - Oct so this is the time to be extra vigilant. Moths prefer dusty, food stained natural fibres and thrive in humid environments. Make sure you keep your home well ventilated to decrease humidity. Regularly vacuum the surface of your cushion to keep the fabric clean. You may want to lightly spray the cushion with a shop-bought moth deterrent or make your own using water and a few drops of lavender essential oil. You could even place a few small sachets of dried lavender inside between the cushion and the cover.
