Created by Jane for the major exhibition 'Making Paradise' at the Aga Khan Centre Gallery and beautifully reproduced from her intricate blue Biro drawing 'Dear Nightingale' is the first design for her ceramic tile diptych displayed in the exhibition. Inspired by Attar's 12th-century poem 'The Conference of the Birds', the drawing features avian characters from the poem and an Islamic tile pattern from Shah-i-Zinda, Jane's meticulous drawings take several months to research and make. Sumptuous signed and numbered limited edition archival pigment print, made by one of the very best printmakers in the industry. Original Biro drawing by Jane Lee McCracken. Edition: 25. Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm. Permanent for greater than 250 years under normal glass. 275 years displayed behind UV glass before noticeable fading and/or changes in colour balance occur.
