Description

Beautifully reproduced from Jane's intricate black biro drawing ‘Sweet'. This is the first design of her ‘Grey Wolves' diptych. One of eight designs from her iconic print and china collection ‘In Homage to the Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia', this body of work highlights threatened and endangered carnivores across the Eurasian continent. ‘Sweet' is inspired by her dog and muse Lily and explores the close family relationships shared by wolves, through a tale of love and loyalty between a white wolf and its black mate. Jane's meticulous drawings take several months to research and make. Sumptuous signed and numbered limited edition archival pigment print, made by one of the very best printmakers in the industry. Original Biro drawing by Jane Lee McCracken. Edition: 50. Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm. Size: 50 x 50 cm. Permanent for greater than 250 years under normal glass. 275 years displayed behind UV glass before noticeable fading and/or changes in colour balance occur. Print is signed and numbered by Jane. Print is sold unframed.
