Black Diamond Distance 8L Backpack Black Diamond?s super lightweight Distance 8 Backpack is designed for fast and light movement across all types of mountain terrain, making it ideal for extreme ultra-marathons, sky running and super lightweight alpine adventures. The eight litre capacity design blurs the line between running vest and climbing pack, with a side compression system to secure the pack to the body in extreme situations and the capacity to carry poles or ice tools. A fully water-resistant main compartment provides a safe place to store gear in inclement weather and there two stretch zipped chest pockets for quick access items. An additional two front pockets provide the ideal place to store nutrition and there is a secure inside pocket for keys or cash. Soft flasks (sold separately) can be kept in the dedicated front pouches and there is a specific pocket for use with the Black Diamond Deploy Wind Shell as well as a mesh divider inside the pack for a cordelette or water bladder (sold separately). The fabric is BPA and PVC free. Please note: Accessories sold separately.
