One of Birkenstock’s oldest styles, the Madrid sandals were originally released as a ‘gymnastic sandal’ over half a century ago. The simple, single-strap design is made from synthetic Birko-Flor®, which is kind to skin and durable. An adjustable pin buckle ensures a comfortable fit. Birkenstocks are designed to fit slightly generously in order to perform the natural rolling motion of the foot without restrictions. This gives the feeling of walking barefoot. Upper: Birko-Flor®.
