Berghaus debut their new eco-friendly COLOURKIND™ technology with their Island Peak range, using a dyeing process that is more environmentally friendly to deliver a waterproof jacket with higher quality, more colourfast fabrics. The Womens Island Peak Jacket also delivers the same high performance expected from a Gore-Tex® product, with a 100% waterproof 2 layer construction that is highly breathable and comfortable to wear - perfect for an active day out. Gore-Tex® is a highly breathable, fully waterproof and windproof membrane with microscopic pores about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule. This prevents water from penetrating while allowing vapour to escape.
