Working with Pertex Quantum is Hydrodown insulation which works to provide a perfect balance between warmth and weight. Hydrodown insulation traps body heat within its fibres and prevents them from escaping so you can retain body heat when temperatures drop. Nikwax has also been used on the jacket to keep you insulated even in wet conditions.
