Description
Rich purple-brown leaves cover the elegant arching branches of this compact Barberry. Berberis thunbergii 'Red Dream' has an upright habit and looks fantastic grown with contrasting bright golds and fresh greens. In spring, pale yellow flowers are produced which are followed by red berries in the autumn. Tough and easy to grow, Berberis 'Red Dream' makes a fantastic dwarf hedge or specimen shrub in beds and borders, where the vibrant autumn colour provides a long season of interest.
