The low footend allows access to the bed from three sides. There is plenty of storage space under this bed and can be bought with additional storage drawers (sold seperately). The Single bedframe accomodates 2 drawers while the Double can accommodate upto 4 drawers. The drawers are on wheels so can be used either side of the bed. Overall a very versatile bed.
