Tom Dixon Wall light White Metal. Dimensions: Ø 13 x H 28.5 cm - Depth 22.5 cm. The manufacturing of this lamp requires excellent know-how: the brass shade is hand-crafted in India. The brass is turned then hammered by hand according to a traditional technique used by India’s master craftsmen! Behind each lamp, you sense the hand of the craftsman, the work of the one who made it. The outside of the shade is painted glossy white while the inside is golden. This contrast of colours and matt and reflective surfaces, is superbly highlighted by the direct diffusion and concentrated light beam. The shape of the lampshade challenges us with its geometric, clean and extremely graphic outline. This form is inspired by the vases that Indians carry on their heads to go and seek water ... The articulated arm lets you direct the light accurately. The brass wheel dimmer on the wall base lets you adjust the light intensity.
