The tapered shape, sidecut, and setback stance are optimized for backseat steering, high-speed traction and maximum powder float while the narrow centre base generates swift edge-to-edge transfer and powerful carves. Additionally, the AirRideTechnology an additive we include within the wood core of select models, which dampens vibrations and makes riding smoother at high speeds. Its like having a suspension system on your snowboard.The Goliath uses the S.U.L.C. Woodcore that consists of an 80-20 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend providing optimal strength. Dual Radial Super Tubes and AirRide technology create even more lightness and give a really smooth ride. Carbon stringers make a significant difference in how a board performs by positioning strips of carbon fibre we can fine-tune the flex, pop, edge hold, response and dampen chatter. Bataleon has used Triaxial laminate, a three-way weave of fibreglass that light, strong and responsive, this increases torsional stiffness and in turn, makes for a really responsive ride.
