Point-Virgule This colander set is made from a composition of bamboo fibre and corn, reinforced with melamine resin. Bamboo fibre is a natural material for which no trees need to be cut. Bamboo grows over one meter a day and is therefore the world's fastest growing plant. To prevent damage to the mother plant, only the lateral branches of the plant are used for the bamboo fibres. The products of bamboo fibre can withstand temperatures from -20° C to 70° C for a maximum of 2 hours. They must not be used in the oven or microwave, but are freezer safe. We recommend washing the products by hand before the first use, afterwards they can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher. The bamboo fibre products are completely BPA and phthalate free.
