The Engineer III Ohio Chronometer features a case made of 904L grade stainless steel, allowing more resistance to a watch designed for high endurance in challenging environments. Due to its unique alloy, 904L steel provides superior resistance to corrosion, rust and acids. The Ohio Chronometer adopts a streamlined look, appropriate for any kind of situations. The simplicity of the design allows for excellent readability. This dressy watch is classic, except when the lights turn off. The indexes and hands remain visible in the night thanks to BALL's H₃ micro gas tubes which don’t require any external source of power and glow for up to 25 years, with an intensity one hundred times brighter than luminous paint commonly used in the watch industry. The timepiece’s chronometer caliber drives all the necessary functions: hours, minutes, sweep seconds and date. This model can withstand impacts of up to 5, 000Gs and is water resistant to 100 meters. Thanks to the addition of a mu-metal shield inside the 40mm case, the Ohio Chronometer is anti-magnetic to 1, 000 Gauss. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screwed-in crown constitute the other notable features of this watch.
