The science fiction fanatic and creative director of Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia, has become known for his affinity for creating pieces and collections inspired by his passion for futurism. This design approach was epitomised in the designer’s X Pander trainer, which has recently been brought to life once again. Reminiscent of the famous Sci Fi novel, Frankenstein, the silhouette has been reimagined in the form of a stiletto/trainer hybrid. Marvel or monster?
