A brush that has not been properly cleaned is full of bacteria that can cause skin irritation, problems and infections. How do you clean your brushes correctly? Clean the brushes in lukewarm water, never in hot water, and use neutral, fragrance-free soap. Wash the bristles down to the aluminum socket. Starting at the aluminum frame, gently squeeze the bristles outwards to force makeup out of the brush, then thoroughly wet the bristles. When the bristles are damp, squeeze out the water, wrap the brush in kitchen paper and press lightly. To increase the lifespan of the brushes, make sure the setting is thoroughly dried. If the setting gets too wet, the bristles can become loose as the glue dissolves and the bristles fall out. To avoid keeping the water in the brush while it dries, please place the brushes on a towel with the brush handles slightly raised and the bristles pointing downwards.
