A charismatic needlefelt Christmas decoration with knitted scarf, recalling the whimsical drawings of E.H. Shepard (18791906). Bestknown for his illustrations for ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and ‘The Wind in the Willows’, Shepard also contributed many wry cartoons to ‘Punch’; including a masthead from 1955 in which a badger and hedgehog pack for a woodland picnic.
