August Grove Irasburg Bookcase

This piece combines a cosy, country house style touch with modern shapes. The solid wood drawers feature modern, soft-closing mechanisms. The brown fronts, paired with white bodies and metal handles complete the country house look wonderfully. The grain of the wooden surface of the acacia wood bookcase has been brushed with brass bristles to enhance it. This process removes the softer wood fibres. The abrasion of the brass bristles produce darker lines that give the cabinet its special look. This is called a brushed surface!
