The Backland 78 only comes in at 1200g per ski 170, and with a slimmer waist width of 78mm, this ski craves to climb. It features an All-Mountain Rocker to help navigate and control the ski through crud, chop, and various other snow conditions. This also helps to facilitate a smooth and stable ride on the descent. Even with a slimmer waist width than other touring setups, the Backland 78 can still hold its own in the deep stuff thanks to Atomics HRZN Tech Tip. This adds 10 more surface area to the tip of the ski for better floatation and better tracking through chopcrud.
