Hermle The quartz-controlled astrolabe 2000 by Hermle contains a miniaturised planetary machine showing the movement of the Earth and the moon around the sun. With this, you can track the annual orbit of the Earth around the sun in the dome of the astrolabe. Every 24 hours the Earth also rotates once around itself. It also shows how the moon rotates every 29 1/2 days around the Earth and around itself. You can also see in which part of the zodiac the Earth is at present.
