Using a combination of new construction methods and materials, Assos' engineers have managed to create a short where the seat insert remains in the perfect position at all times. They start with a brand new fabric, Type.701kompressor. This is a patented complex woven textile that uses ultrathin yarns which are extremely elastic, delivering a near-frictionless weave to provide you with luxurious comfort and incredible muscle support. Pedalling has never felt easier.This new fabric is then carefully tailored using a brand new panel design to create an incredibly stable platform for the seat insert. Where their S7 shorts use four panels, the S9s reduce this to just two, lessening bulk, reducing seams and hence increasing comfort.
