The EQUIPE RS Spring Fall Aero Gilet has been created for racing. It's also brilliant for hard training sessions too. If you're riding hard and need some core protection then this is the garment for you but don't confuse it with a lightweight emergency gilet - it's a vest you'll be able to wear all day if necessary. To block cold winds and boost warmth the front uses a 3-layer softshell. It's also water-resistant to keep sharp showers off. The back of the gilet benefits from a lighter, highly breathable fabric. The open-knit design boosts sweat-wicking performance while also allowing vapour to escape. The result is less sweat on the skin, less chilling and more comfort when the speed of the peloton throttles up. As a gilet designed for racing, the fit is, as you'd expect, aerodynamically refined. It's tailored to fit closely to the body, with a stripped-down design to save weight and create a smooth fit with the rest of your race kit. Raw-cut hems are used throughout to achieve a smooth fit and a double slider front zipper allows you to maintain aerodynamics up top while ventilating from the bottom.
