Suede Leather Upper
Constructed using a suede leather upper, the Asolo Fugitive Walking Boots offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The suede leather upper keeps the feet protected from debris and sharp objects as well as minimising the risks of wear and tear. The suede is also water-resistant to provide added protection at all times. The Fugitive has been created with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear lining that offers non-insulated protection to keep you dry and comfortably cool in moderate to warm conditions and during higher activity levels. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, the GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A rubber toe cap also provides protection from loose debris and rocks. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
PU MidsoleThe midsole of the Fugitive Walking Boots uses a PU foam to provide long-lasting cushioning and outstanding underfoot comfort. The PU foam feels soft underfoot for increased comfort on expeditions but, the foam also provides ample support to spare your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The midsole ensures you can go further for longer by inundating shocks and protecting your feet when striking down and also disperses the shocks to propel you forward. The midsole ensures long-lasting comfort for long expeditions whilst a leather cover inlay exists underfoot to increase ventilation. Duo Asolflex technology has also been used in the midsole to provide additional support and protection. This specialised technology melts together two elements to improve comfort and performance. The first element is constructed of a stiff material that benefits anti-pronation, anti-supination and anti-torsion movements. The second element is constructed with a softer material that offers shock absorption while walking.
