Description
The Awake NY x Asics Gel-Preleus “Silver” is part of a December 2020 collaboration between Angelo Baque’s New York based streetwear brand and Asics. Decidedly modern in appearance, the Awake NY and Asics Gel-Preleus in “Silver” features silver leather panels layered over a mesh grayscale leopard pattern on the base. Wavy navy blue and green accenting is found on the textured panel on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. Small “Asics” branding is embroidered in white text on the collar and blue “Asics” insignia appears on the tongue. “Gel-Preleus” branding in white stitching and black “Awake NY” detailing on the blue toe cap add to the appearance. A green Gel cushioning pod in the heel of the wavy cream foam midsole provides all-day comfort. Release date: December 11, 2020
