Renee Tohl is a New South Wales based artist and designer. Her current works feature mostly abstract watercolour and ink but she also strays into mixed media and digital art depending on mood. Renees artworks are intuitive often involving layered pattern and detail which adds depth and movement to her art. I like to create based purely upon what Im feeling at the time and I usually feel a strong pull towards the free flow and texture of liquid mediums such as watercolour ink and acrylic paint. I dont usually have a plan for what Im going to create I just try to let go and see what happens.
