A classic amongst desk lamps with LED technology -Tolomeo The design for the desk lamp, which is still popular today and has an extraordinarily modern appearance, was created as early as the 1980s. The two designers Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina created a timeless design classic. Now the classic light has been fitted with modern LEDs and impresses with its modern and efficient LED technology, in addition to the timeless and functional design. The body of the desk lamp Tolomeo is made of high-quality aluminium. The adjustable arms and the moving lampshade make the light into a practical companion for your desk. The brightness can be conveniently adjusted and seamlessly dimmed using a switch on the lamp head. The designer and architect Michele de Lucchi developed the Tolomeo series of lights in collaboration with Giancarlo Fassina in the 1980s. To begin with, de Lucchi wanted to design a light for his own desk. A mechanism used by fishermen in Apulia nspired the shape of the desk lamp. But when the first prototypes did not function, it was ultimately Fassina who revised the light and brought it to life.
