The highly established Original collection was launched in 1989 and to mark its 25th anniversary, Victorinox watches have chosen to celebrate with a model that remains faithfully preserved in its quality and functionality yet underpins a slightly more sophisticate aesthetic than that of its original descendants, thanks to a number of advanced technologies. This Victorinox Swiss Army Original watch bears a deep anthracite grey dial with oversized Arabic numerals at the 3, 6 and 9 o clock locations. Batons intersperse the remaining hour markers highlighting a date calendar at the 4 o clock mark mounted onto a plain white background for ultimate legibility. Victorinox watches also equip the model with a 100 meter water resistance and a triple coated sapphire crystal glass roof. The sheet of glass has been treated with anti reflective and scratch resistant qualities to improve the overall performance and efficiency of the timepiece. The Victorinox Original watch is executed on a deep grey NATO style canvas strap to keep in line with the grey PVD coated aluminium bezel and case back.
