A date aperture rests underneath one of the three chronograph sub-dials representing a one tenth of a second, 30 minute and 60 second counters. Victorinox watches choose a triple coated anti reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass to secure onto the face of the watch, protecting the silver dial from sun damage, water seepage and denting.
