Rado Watch Captain Cook Automatic. R32501206. The Rado Captain Cook watch is perhaps one of the Swiss watch manufacturer’s most iconic models, and despite its release almost sixty years ago, it remains a resonating piece for watch lovers and aficionados alike today. It’s nautical, vintage-inspired aesthetic takes inspiration from the original Rado Captain Cook collection released in 1962 and is named after British navigator and explorer James Cook. While maintaining the original look, the new Rado Captain Cook Automatic watch is brought to life in a new and improved form for the modern-day wearer with a polished stainless steel case, high-tech ceramic bezel and the Swiss watch manufacturer’s EasyClip System which allows you to change the blue textile strap quickly and easily without the need for any tools. Measuring to 45mm in diameter and 13.8mm thick, the Rado Captain Cook Ladies watch is presented with a brushed and polished stainless steel case and a gorgeous high-tech ceramic bezel, a material renowned for being extremely lightweight, scratch resistant and hypoallergenic. The blue bezel is equipped with unidirectional functionality and a 60 minute scale, perfect for measuring elapsed dive times also assisted by its 200 metre water resistance, screw down crown and screw in case back. At the centre, the iconic Rado Captain Cook dial is renewed by a smooth navy blue backdrop, applied indices, large arrow-shaped luminescent hands for hours, minutes and seconds and a date window at 3 o’clock. Protecting the dial is scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment and housed within the Rado Captain Cook Automatic watch is the ETA C07  automatic winding movement which delivers an impressive power reserve of 80 hours.
