This Oris Aquis Carysfort Reef Bracelet Limited Edition is the third of its kind, designed to aid the Coral Restoration Foundation who are fighting for the Carysfort Reef in Florida, the third largest barrier reef in the world and the only one in the United States. Unfortunately, over the last 50 years, Carysfort Reef has become severely degraded due to tourism, overfishing and pollution, with coral populations declining by around 98%. With the help of Oris and the awareness and funds raised through sales of the new Oris Aquis Carysfort Reef Limited Edition watch, the Coral Restoration Foundation hopes to return at least 30,000 corals back to the reef by the end of 2020.. A dream divers watch for international travellers, the Oris Aquis Carysfort Reef Limited Edition features a remarkable GMT complication that can track up to three different time zones at once. This incredible feature is powered by the Oris 798 automatic winding movement and can be set using the standard central hour hand, the central GMT hand with orange tip and the bi-directional GMT bezel in combination with the GMT hand. The Swiss made calibre also provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds, a date window and a power reserve of 42 hours. The Oris Aquis Carysfort Reef watch continues to impress with a 300 metre water resistant case measuring to 43.5mm in diameter and engineered from smooth stainless steel. Fitted to the case is a two toned black and blue ceramic insert bezel which can be used as a unique day and night indicator. To complete the look, sapphire crystal glass, an orange rubber strap and a screw down case back decorated with different species of coral found in Carysfort Reef is added.
