A handsome tribute to late baseball player Roberto Clemente, the Oris Big Crown Roberto Clemente Limited Edition watch has been designed alongside the Roberto Clemente Foundation managed by Clemente's son, Luis Roberto Clemente Zabala. Together, Oris and the foundation pay respect to Clemente and his incredible legacy by ensuring profits generated from the sale of each watch helps fundraise a new Sports City, a place for at-risk youth to play baseball. Its unique aesthetics are inspired entirely by Roberto Clemente himself including elegant black and gold numerals inspired by his baseball uniform and a “21” date marker purposely highlighted to signify his number at the Pittsburgh Pirates.. The Oris Big Crown Roberto Clemente Limited Edition looks magnificent on the wrist, engineered with a 40mm stainless steel case, coin edged bezel and domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment on the inside. A screw in security crown and screw down case back ensures a 50 metre water resistant rating while the case back continues the celebrations with a special decoration of the baseball legend. Housed within is the Oris 754 automatic winding movement which provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds, a central date hand and a power reserve of 38 hours. To complete the vintage-inspired aesthetic, the Oris Roberto Clemente Limited Edition is fitted with a light brown leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle. With your order of the watch, you will also receive a special box, certificate, strap change tool and an additional black, gold and white NATO strap.
